Strengthening relations between Austria and Israel

Visit of Likud parliamentarian Jehuda Glick to Vienna

During the colloquium organised by the FPÖ Education Institute in Vienna on 12-13 February 2018, and led by FPÖ honorary chairman Hilmar Kabas, Rabbi Jehuda Glick, member of the Israeli ruling party of Likud, met with Vice-Chancellor and FPÖ party chairman Heinz-Christian Strache, FPÖ Secretary General Harald Vilimsky, member of the National Council John Gudenus, FPO club chairperson in parliament and member of the National Council David Lasar, and FPÖ councillor Dr. Ursula Stenzel. Rabbi Glick also used his stay in Vienna for a meeting with the Austrian Foreign Minister Dr. Karin Kneissl.

“I am here to strengthen the relations between Austria and Israel”, said Glick upon his arrival on 12 February 2018.

“The visit of Likud parliamentarian Jehuda Glick to Vienna represents an important contribution to the dialogue between Austria and Israel. In the area of its international political educational mandate, the FPÖ Education Institute focuses on international understanding to promote cooperation and peace and therefore seeks dialogue with Israeli political representatives," says Dr Klaus Nittmann, Managing Director of the FPÖ Education Institute.
