"I can only recommend the "Women's Academy" seminar series, which I was able to attend in 2022, to all female functionaries. The theory and practical content are perfectly tailored to our political work. I was able to gain a lot of new ideas and after these seminars I feel fully motivated again for my work on the local council and as a parliamentary group leader. The many practical exercises have strengthened me for my political activities and I am also ready for new tasks. The best thing for me: I was able to meet wonderful women from all over Austria! The exchange among each other, the team spirit and the fun we had together made every seminar weekend a great experience. Every female functionary should have the opportunity to attend the Women's Academy, because: Our country needs strong women!"

Hermine Kager, Local Councillor in Upper Austria (2022)

"It was a great honor for me to be able to participate in the Young Academy 2022! I think I speak for all the participants in our cohort when I say that the training with our trainer Dietmar Heuritsch and all the fireside guests present was extremely instructive and enjoyable. In addition, numerous contacts were made and friendships developed, for which I am very grateful. I can definitely recommend participation in the Young Academy to every Young Freedom Party member."

Tim Tschinkel, Parliamentary Assistant, FPÖ Styria (2022)

"52 percent of voters are women! The Women's Academy of the FPÖ Education Institute takes this fact into account. Here, women are prepared for the requirements of a female political leader and their opinions are heard. We were introduced to liberal women's politics and the effective areas of political communication and learned to recognize our own development potential. For me, the area of non-verbal communication and the effect on others was particularly valuable and I took away a lot for my political work."

Anna Groiß, municipal councilor Lower Austria (2021)

"The journalism training workshop was highly instructive and successful for me. In addition to the assistance in journalistic writing, we participants also received very valuable tips for journalism in image, sound and social media. It was very interesting and fruitful for me to get to know various editors-in-chief of alternative media, including the offer to complete internships with them. Finally, we were able to fine-tune our skills in two specialization modules. Equipped with the necessary tools for working in the media sector, we now have many career options open to us."

Hannes Zingerle, managing editor of the first all-Tyrolean news portal "UnserTirol24" and member of the federal executive committee of the Freiheitliche Jugend (Freedom Youth) (2021)

"The Europe Academy is a valuable addition to the FBI's training offerings. As the Academy points out, an estimated 80 percent of our laws are already pre-decided in Brussels. In addition to the EU, the Council of Europe, which has a massive influence on our lives virtually unnoticed by the public, is also part of the consideration. However, the Europe Academy shines above all with its international orientation and the lecturers, who come directly from the "gears" of the EU and thus provide valuable insights into everyday practice and the work in the parliamentary group. At the end of the training, there is an excursion to Brussels, which not only offers networking opportunities, but also allows a look behind the scenes. I can only recommend everyone to participate in the training course of the Europa-Akademie, because regardless of the personal field of activity, a lot of valuable information can be taken away for the political work. And of course, the comradely part is not neglected either."

Fabian Walch, BA MA, regional chairman FAV Tyrol and press spokesman FPÖ Tyrol (2021)

"The reference to Europe is constantly growing in political activity. Whoever wants to argue well and wants the EU to be different, must not ignore it, but must know how it works and know its mechanisms and structures. This knowledge is provided in the course "Europa-Akademie" of the FBI. Especially the module taking place in Brussels is very instructive there. Only with sound knowledge can changes and new projects be initiated at the political level. The EU concerns us all!"

Verena Mutzatko, Wien (2020)

"The Europe Academy is an important addition to the already very extensive and high-quality educational offering of the "FPÖ Education Institute". Despite the mostly justified critical attitude of patriotic forces to the European Union, it is important to deal intensively with the complex of issues surrounding the European Union and at the same time to work out where there are potential partners with whom one can reform the EU together in the future. This is exactly where the Europa-Akademie comes in and combines intensive theoretical work with at least as important exchange with partners from other European countries. The training course is recommended to anyone who not only wants to criticize the European institutions, but also wants to contribute to reforming them."

GK Alessandro Kopeter, RFJ Country chairman Stv. Styria, (2020)

“Putting strong women centre stage! In March 2019, the FPÖ Educational Institute launched the Women’s Academy as a new training pathway. Women from across Austria came together for training in government, rhetoric’s, media work and motivation. Superb trainers helped me to find my own individual path and to build it into a highway to success. I can only advise every woman offered this opportunity to seize it with both hands. I am a member of the local council in Wiesfleck, Burgenland, and at every meeting now look forward to speaking effectively and with confidence.”

Ilse Jägerbauer, Councillor in Burgenland (2019)

“As one of the first participants of the Young Academy, I follow the development of this training programme of the FPÖ Political Academy with great interest. The Academy was highly educational for me. We received the basic tools of political work in a very professional manner.
Also, this course gave us the opportunity to forge good relations and friendships throughout our political movement.”

Christof Bitschi, Party chairman, Vorarlberg (2018)

“The courses of the FPÖ Educational Institute gave me a good start to gain a comprehensive overview of the various activities that come with a political office. I was able to find contacts and make close friends quickly in the various states in Austria. Not only the close and growing cohesion mentioned before was very clear after a year, but also the further personal development. I can draw on the seminars both for political issues and in my own private life, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the Academy to anyone wishing to work on themselves and have fun along the way. I thank the FPÖ Education Institute for this great opportunity, and I am looking forward to Alumni programmes in the future as well as further challenges ahead.”

Maximilian Weinzierl (2017)

“I am delighted that the FPÖ Educational Institute has launched the Women’s Academy and can recommend all my fellow female activists to enrol. In particular, I would like to highlight the Head of the FPÖ Women’s Initiative, Carmen Schimanek, who got this project underway.

It is important that the women of our Party are trained, provided with a solid grounding in relevant topics and have access to continuous development. The subject matter of the course was practice-oriented, as was the competent manner in which it was taught. Although I have attended many seminars in the past, I again learned a great deal, developed many great new friendships and was able to expand my network.

For the future, I hope that many other women from our Party will be offered the opportunity to take part in the Women’s Academy and, personally, I would like to see a follow-up programme for the first cohort of women graduates. After all, you never stop learning. :-)”

Nicole Hosp, Councillor in Lustenau, former member of the Provincial Parliament, IFF Chairperson in Vorarlberg (2019)

“What I particularly liked about the Young Academy was the wide range of competences the individual modules covered. The building and fine-tuning of rhetoric and communication skills as well as social skills are just as much part of the curriculum as the study of the political landscape and public administration in Austria.
I can only recommend the course also because you also get the opportunity to meet fellow members from all over Austria and beyond.”

Ralph Schäfer, BSc, Deputy Youth Party Chairman, FPÖ Youth Upper Austria (2016)

“I completed the Young Academy in 2014 and was able to take so much with me into my political work today at the State Parliament of Styria.
The content of the seminars was always practice-oriented and interesting, there was always time for companionship and fun, resulting in great friendships across the states of Austria.
I can only recommend all young liberals to take up the offer of the Young Academy.”

Liane Moitzi, Member of the State Parliament Styria (2015)

“The training programme of the Young Academy is THE opportunity to become more effective in speaking, presenting and at meetings. It gradually made it easier for me and gave me joy in holding presentations and speeches. It was extremely useful for me to learn how to deal constructively with stage fright and nervousness. You keep improving your presentation technique and your body language. Your arguments become more structured and, above all, more convincing.
The training programme of the Young Academy lays the foundation for confident behaviour. I liked the entire seminar, particularly that my perception of my own communication has changed. I felt I was in very good hands.”
