Team-building seminar of the Young Academy

On 8 and 9 November 2019, a team-building seminar was held in southern Burgenland for the graduates of the Young Academy, where they learned new ways of understanding and experiencing teamwork and modes of communication.
Learning about leadership with falcons: When working in a team, it is essential to set aside “me” so that the collective “we” can develop its full potential. Closely related aspects include communication within the team, empathy, expanded and intensified perception, consideration of others, verbal and nonverbal communication, behavior during conflict and dealing with conflicts as well as a continuous focus on the shared goal. The training began indoors and later moved outdoors to work with the peregrine falcons.
