Start of the 2019 Young Academy

Friday, 8 March 2019 saw the start of this year’s basic training course “Politics and political management” of the 2019 Young Academy. Dedicated to the topic “The rudiments of communication”, the first 2-day module was held in Vienna.
The welcome speech was given at the Ministry of the Interior by Federal Minister Herbert Kickl, President of the FPÖ Education Institute, who underlined the importance of sticking together within the FPÖ family.
Managing director of the FPÖ Education Institute, Klaus Nittmann emphasised how important the quality training of young party officials is, and was happy to see the great interest of the participants. “I can see yet another strong class!”
The Young Academy is a national training programme of the FPÖ Education Institute, and addresses young officials and delegates. An advanced training course and a part-time Master’s degree can be completed after this basic course. So far, around 80 promising young representatives were trained for service at municipal level, in state parliaments, in the Federal Parliament and in ministerial cabinets.
