Talk less. Say more. Get to the point.
2-day communication seminar in Salzburg
From 15 to 16 November 2025, Zukunftsschmiede focused on a core concern of political education: the development of clear, audience-oriented and resilient language. The focus was on how political messages can be formulated in such a way that they remain understandable, have an impact and at the same time convey one's own point of view precisely.
For two days, participants worked on forms of communication that have proven themselves in everyday political life. These included precise question-and-answer techniques, the KISSSS principle for reducing complex content to clear core messages, and strategies for confidently dealing with talkative people, hecklers and rhetorical attempts to disrupt.
Real-life conversation and presentation situations were simulated in practical exercises. Immediate feedback from the trainer and the group enabled rapid reflection and noticeable further development of the participants' own expressive and impactful communication skills.
The seminar aimed to convey that targeted communication is also a question of clarity – and that focusing on the essentials generates the persuasive power that can strengthen political work in the long term.
