Strategic use of digital communication in politics

At the end of June 2025, the Freiheitliche Bildungsinstitut held four seminars on the professional use of Telegram in a political and organizational context. The training courses took place in the districts of Neunkirchen, Wiener Neustadt, Hollabrunn and Korneuburg and were aimed at politically active functionaries, employees and interested parties from the region.

Under the guidance of trainer Britta Barnett, the participants were introduced to the many possible uses of Telegram - both as an information channel and as an instrument for mobilization or as a tool for internal communication.

The seminars focused on practical relevance and covered topics such as the safe and efficient use of the user interface, the strategic design and distribution of short, concise and appealing content and the possibilities for interacting with followers. Particular emphasis was placed on the relevance of Telegram in the context of building digital structures within political organizations.
