Safe use of social media

As part of a seminar held by the Freiheitliche Bildungsinstitut on June 5, 2025 in Gödersdorf, functionaries from the districts of Villach Stadt and Land were trained in the safe use of social media. Speaker Dr. Markus Steindl imparted practical legal basics on data protection, copyright and the responsible use of images and content online. The aim was to raise risk awareness and create confidence in the digital space. Concrete practical examples were used to make potential risks tangible and show how to navigate social media safely in everyday political life.
