Digital media skills

At the beginning of June, the Freiheitliche Bildungsinstitut organized a seminar on “Safe use of social media” for functionaries from Klagenfurt city and province. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Markus Steindl, the focus was on key issues relating to data protection, copyright and the correct handling of online content. The aim of the training was to highlight potential dangers online and to give participants more security in their everyday digital lives.

The agenda included the following topics:

• Basics of copyright and data protection
• Pitfalls when using images and photos from the internet
• The internet - the transparent person
